Aggregates
Aggregates are everywhere. In the forms of crushed stone, sand and gravel, aggregates make up the foundation of our society: from driveways to highways, houses to hospitals, parking lots to airports, ditches to river embankments. They make up the very infrastructure that shelters, transports, and feeds us.
As our population grows steadily, the need for aggregate resources remains critical. Aggregate producers and managers belonging to the NY Construction Materials Association are primarily concerned with maintaining a competitive supply of high quality aggregate for public and private use in New York’s towns and cities. Owners of aggregate operations are dedicated to becoming good neighbors and responsible stewards of the land in fulfillment of these goals.
